Thanks to modern synchronization services, large files can be shared among users or transferred to other computers as fast and easy as possible. A shiny example is DataBaGG. This lightweight application enables you to send any data to friends, family or coworkers and to make them available anywhere you go, just by copying the files to a folder. You can manage your personal files on any computer in the world and the best part is that you don't have to leave your home computer running.

The application can be installed in no time, after which you have to create an online account. DataBaGG offers 5 GB of free storage space and you can upgrade to a paid account if you want more space. The application can be installed on Windows PCs, but it is also available for Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows mobile devices.

DataBaGG comes with a compact desktop interface, on which you can add folders to synchronize them, manage and share your uploaded files, create a contacts list and more. The application works in the background and you don't have to interact with its desktop interface too much. Instead, you can upload files to the cloud and manage them on a standard explorer window. Once you copy one or more files to a synchronized folder, the application will upload them automatically.

When working on another computer, you can sign into your online account, on any browser and access DataBaGG's web-based user interface. It displays all uploaded files in the same way you organize them in Windows Explorer. Each file is displayed together with a few options, for renaming and deleting them, for downloading and for sharing. Data can be shared via emails, but you can also post your files on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn or share them via direct link. Besides downloading or sharing your files, you can also organize images, videos and music in albums and playlists.

If you install DataBaGG on another computer or mobile device and link it with your online account, you will be able to synchronize your files across these platforms. All you have to do is copy the files to a synchronized folder and the application will do the rest. If one of your computers or mobile devices is off, the application will download your files on that platform automatically, when you turn it on.

Pros

Files are automatically uploaded to the cloud and downloaded to other platforms, when you copy them into a synchronized folder. You can share your files via email, social networks or direct link. Furthermore, media files can be organized in albums and playlists.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to speak of. With its straightforward and efficient functionality, DataBaGG can easily replace USB flash drives or any other physical storage devices.
